I had to do the dutiful thing and visit my folks for a few days just after Christmas, they live in Telford, so I gave Mark and Angie Gray (Editor and Chairman of the Rover P6 Club) a telephone call that I'd be passing Wolverhampton on my way through and would the kettle be on for a spot of Rover talk!
Well, I don't think we've ever been made to feel more welcome. Jane (my wife) commented as we left and headed back for the motorway that she was made to feel like we had known them all our lives, quite extraordinary.
Thank you Mark and Angie, you are truly 'club' people, friendly people and now our friends. I look forward to meeting you again at club events, socials and of course .... whenever we're driving by.
