Time to introduce myself, just recently bought a P6 3500 Automatic, my first Rover
Bought is as a non runner, with some work to do to bring it back on the road
Got it running, but yesterday it died on me, here comes the first question and if the mods want me to start a new thread pls let me know.
The wire (White with a yellow stripe) to the coil was alway hot (apparantly not runnging through my ignition key) so if I wanted to stop the engine I needed to pull the wire from the battery. Yester day I connected a wire to the fuse box which runs through the ignition key, and it worked well, but suddenly the engine stopped and has no spark
Did I blew up the coil? It has the standard dizzy with points
