Today on my series 2 V8, my oil pressure gauge, temp gauge and fuel gauge have all stopped working at the same time. Clearly they are linked in some way but what is likely to have caused this. They dont seem to be covered by the fuses, or are they. Any help please.

Sorry previous post didnt get posted, where is the voltage stilizer is it at the back of the instrument cluster and what does it look like, not sure what Im looking for, and as previously can I test is before I go and buy another or bypass it for a journey I need to make. Thanks

Sorry cant help much on the location or photo, from memory it is in behind the dash.
Probably little point in bypassing your one as if you do all your gauges will read high and be inaccurate ie meaningless. Other than ensuring your fuel tank, oil and radiater are topped up it should have little to no effect on your cars performance.

Problem is it also has affected my lights, no brake lights, no indicators, no full beam, though I do have head and side lights

Then it is unlikly to be the voltage staabilizer, more like either an earth fault or a power feed dropped off.

Time to check the fuse box. There are some variations depending on year but typically the same fuse controls the brake lights, indicators, rev lights, screen washer and gauges. The high beam is controlled by a seperate fuse though.
