Please don't devote to much time to this as it is only an "out of interest" enquiry, but can anyone explain the "logic" or time line in the fitting of under/over riders to P6 bumpers.
My original thought was that they were an option and that the underriders were the original style on the 2000 but would not fit the V8 valance so the overrider became the V8 option. Then I thought that maybe US safety specs bought about the overrider for the Mk2.
However looking in the various P6 literature I have I find pictures of almost every possible variation including at least one car with both over and under riders fitted together.
