P6 body parts and fuel tank - FREE!

I've got a right front wing (early model P6), a left driver's side (LHD) door, and a fuel tank that are free to anyone who wants to pick them up. I'll also consider boxing and shipping them, however would have to charge for packing materials and shipping costs. My labor to pack would also be at no charge.

The parts are in Los Angeles, Hollywood to be precise. Both the wing and door were stripped to bare metal, minor dings removed, primered and painted. It was at that point I discovered that they are both from early cars and not right for my '68 2000TC. The door doesn't have the 'anti burst' feature and the wing has a wheel arch that differs slightly from that on the '68 model and later. Both parts are rust free, having spent their lives in California.

The fuel tank seems to be in perfect condition, no rust, no dents, etc. It may be from a 3500S, I'm not sure. If you are interested in this tank and can describe the differences between the tanks for the P6 and P6B I'll be happy to determine which tank I have.

For anyone who is interested, contact me via email and if you wish, I can also send you photos.

Cheers,
Tom

Good Morning,
I just came across your advert about having a P6 fuel tank to give. I would be very interested as I have a P6 2200TC of 1976 with a very dirty fuel tank with a faulty fuel sender.
Is there a real difference in the 3500 tanks compared to the 2200TC one?
This should be shipped to France. Is it possible for you? Of course any expenses would be paid in advance.
Thank you for your answer.
If you know of a spare fuel sender for sale, I am also interested.
Best regards,

Hi Phill.
I think you will find that shipping such a large object like a fuel tank from the USA will be HUGELY expensive,if that is you can find a courier to do it,as it would have to be thoroughly decontaminated and might not be allowed on a plane anyway!!
It would be cheaper, safer,a lot quicker, and far easier overall to locate one in the UK and pop over on the ferry, tunnel and collect it,as there is a well know P6 person not too far from Dover,or Portsmouth!

Phil,
I may have inadvertently sent an incomplete reply so will try again. I've been traveling in Vietnam for the past month and won't return home until mid=December. At that time I can check on freight charges to France for you then you can make a decision.
Sorry for the delay in replying.

Cheers,
Tom
