I am replacingthe timing cover and oil pump from my engine with those from SD1.
I have Haynes manual for P6, Rover 3500 and Range Rover, but the oil pump does not match any of those in the manuals (well it wouldn't match the last 2).
The main difference is my filter hangs vertically downwards but the manuals show it angled towards the front plus there are differences in the number and poisiton of ports for oil switch etc:
So it is a bit of a mystery - just curious as to if anyone can shine some light on this? (I will try to take a photo and post as that will help).
