I have some P6 parts to sell, as my Volvo failed its MOT and needs a few hundred spending on it, that i haven't got. I had a P6 till a few years back, when towing it back up the drive with a powered tow line, it tore apart down one side underneath. My Dad saying "better now that with you in it on the motorway" didnt' help. However true it was. Well i have just about got over it now. I have decided to start again saving up and buy a decent one with good bodyshell and not a 'fixer upper' much as i enjoy auto work and welding it. I just hate doing stuff on the front pathway outside with no lift. I suppose I must be getting old or something.?
Anyway i have lots of parts to sell, but a few of them have stumped me as to what they are exactly. This first pic, the black piece below. I can't seem to find where it goes when i look at the exploded parts view. Can someone please tell me what it is?
The second piece is from Wadhams & obviously an inner sill.(ie welded inside the clip on outer sill) But when i look at the exploded view there seem to be two inner sills, one on top of the other?
I'm sorry but its been a while. I havent even been able to come back on this site till today. Its too painfull to see what might have been my own finished shiny P6. But needs must etc etc. When i come back from my holidays ill start saving up again. This time though i wont fritter away several hundred quid on a doer upper. So easy to do. Ill bite the bullet and save till i have a proper car ammount.
If some can help wwith identifying these partsi'd be very greatfull. When i get the rest of the stuff up tomorrow i will let it be known here. If anyone wants to make an offer before any bid is in i will see if i can do a deal. Especially if someone is willing to pick up themselves to save all the bother and expense of posting large items.
I am from Chester if anyone wants to pick up to save on postage.
