P6 V8 front Bumper and nearside doors...

Wanted P6 nearside front wing,am not bothered if steel or fibreglass (steel prefered but beggar can't be choosers) preferably in the home counties or if your willing to post, am not being tight but am on a bit of a budget, but anything considered.
Also pair of bumpers, need to be ok nut car it to be used daily and will never be a show winner!!

It's a '72 V8 but didn't think there was differnce and am in Hertfordshire, joe

The V8 front bumper differ from the 2000 one,you cant fit a 2000 one to a V8!
The rear one and wings,doors etc are the same though.

thanks pilkie,see you can tell i'm a P6 virgin,but in thinking i suppose with the V8 hump in the valence then that would make sense....cheers

oh yes,curently run a pair of polo's and a vento so am well used to watercooled vw's, don't really like more modern stuff as i don't have a computer to fix it when it goes wrong, also have a '58 spruce green A35 2 door thats ready for paint and in a million bits......

Where abouts in Herts are you? I've painted a few Austins but not seen many around near me for years :)
I'm near South Mimms ish :wink:

I meant the 23 yrs off the road 1967 Karmann Ghia I recently bought,recomissioned and sold! :)
All just for the registration number!! :wink:
Modern cars to me are post 1980 and I wont go near them!!
This is a classics only household!! :LOL:

hi grim v8,would be interested in going to a local club meet if you can enlighten me? nearest offer of wingage is a chap in bedford but am waiting for a mesage back, and have been offered a pair of wings from east london so all looking quite good, will keep ya all posted....

Car arrived today and as you can imagine.it's worsed than the photo's showed so now need nearside doors and still need a V8 front bumper...... anyone??
 
Lesson learnt there,never believe the seller and dont buy without looking at it!
I am speaking as a buyer not a seller, :wink: as I did sell the VW Ghia without him seeing it until he came to collect, but I gave a full and honest description.
If it is solid and runs and is just cosmetic,its a relatively easy job to do,but I see you have now bunged it on Ebay,Good luck selling it.
 
have 3500s bumpers,front good, rear 99%.just got car but doors seem usable at least. in n.ireland 07742 453 985.thanx.
