pin holes on the top of the engine

hello i have a seres 1 rover 3500 p6 and at some ime in its life it must have had the heater core hoses leaking and
they ave leaked onto the block below the maniflod and made pinholes that oil sparays out of when engine revs
so i have solderd themup for now but what is a permenant soloutin

Hello John,

The pins holes are in the inlet manifold gasket, so the permanent solution is to remove the inlet manifold and fit a new gasket.
