Hi All,
Just for interest i thought i would post a pic of some Rare Rover bits i have begged/scrounged over the years when i had many P6s :) I thick the rarest bit is the Rover badge (bottom right) which i am told was worn by Rover security guards on their peaked hats :? I also have various price lists option lists handbooks etc ever noticed they still smell of old Rovers even after being stored for years in your cupboards etc weird or what

Cool! 8) So what are the cases? Notepad and cigarette case? I have some Rover 2000 cufflinks and a launch promo ciggy lighter for the SD1  but one of my favourite things in my collection is this:

It is very detailed with plenty of pictures and schematics and even one shot of the car being tuned. Does anyone out there own a white series 1 TC, registration LHP398F?

They are Notepad holders looks like you have some pretty rare bits yourself

OOOOH! I would seriously like a scan of that BRICO manual KiwiRover. I hadn't realised the injected 2000 had got as far as that down the production route! As I understand it the BRICO system is essentially identical to the early Lucas system subsequently used on the MG 2ltr O series in Maestro and Montego and the 1.6ltr S series in the Rover 216 EFi (and also on the SD1 Vitesse?). There are photo's of the badging for the 3500EI in Taylor's book but only a breif write up on a prototype of the injected 2000. Any chance you can e mail me one?

I like the notepad holders as well CBV8, suitably classy!

Chris

I have 2 tankards bought off ebay for not a lot!!
A leather tankard with a ceramic metal effect insert!
Dont know how old it is or what they were made for, just had to have it!
And the other one I just had to have is no;4 one of only 25?,or 50? P6 tankards produced by Ron Peace,Staffordshire.

I forgot about these two now antisocial ashtrays  dont think the one on the left is very rare but i think the Jet 1 maybe it says Sandland Stafforshire England on the back :?

Hi Chris, It is on my list of things to scan but it is about 70 pages so I dont know how easy it would be to E-mail. I'll start scanning it and see how it works out. :)
