rover engine valves

hey all i got some engine valves with to different part numbers which are 512140 and 568786 i think they are for the exhaust but not sure can any 1 help me out for wot model they are for trying to sort out all my rover stuff dont know where to start

Hello Gareth,

Well those part numbers don't correspond with the part numbers allocated to either P6B V8 engine valves. The P6B exhaust valves are 602165, while the inlet valves are 602166.

What are the dimensions of the valves?

Done a bit of searching through AE engine parts books and those part numbers come up as exhaust valves for the 1959-67 Rover 3 litre p5 mk 1,2,3.
 
hi yea well i did look at my 3500 parts book and the 2000 but i did not know wot the 2200 were just in case they change them from the 2000 to the 2200 so they are for the p5 3 litre nor for any of the p6 range i just found them in my attic so i thought i would try and look them up just in case they are for my 3500
