Just replaced mine while redoing the back suspension.

Yes it is a simple job to do although you end up dismantling the a lot of the rear suspension - assume you have a Repair Operation Manual to hand.

Key points are -

How good are your rear jacking tubes - to support the car on axel stands

Undo the half shafts at the rear brake discs, note its best to use a Hex socket as the studs are very tight and my ordinary socket slipped when trying to undo them. Get some new half shaft locking tabs

My hubs had rusted stuck to the dion tube ends and took quite a few goes with a slide hammer to dislodge ( used copper grease when putting back together )

Just undo the top and bottom suspension links and then the thing is off.

Undo the passenger side dion tube end, and pull off, remove the clip on the end of the tube and then it should slide apart.

Probably worth having the tube ends chemically derusted, cost me £25 including plating, and then paint and slosh wax oil inside before refitting.

Good luck
