starter motor repair kit?

Gentlemen, I am in the process of rebuilding my starter motor (Lucas 3M 100 PE). The solinoid is in poor condition as the moving contacts are worn, likewise is the rubber cover torn. Where can I obtain a repair kit for such things? regards, Chris Varming
 
There is a company called "JCR Supplies" that stock repair parts and overhaul kits for Starters and Alternators.

They have a shop on Ebay under the same name and it would be worth contacting them to see if they can help you out.
 
Yes, they're local to us & very handy for the old cars. I bought a service kit for the dynamo on the 110 off the shelf a while back. I'll fit it too, one of these days. :LOL: As Harvey says, they have an ebay shop but would do general mail order too I'm guessing.

I'd just contact them direct & order what you want if I were you. You might wait ages for them to put what you want on ebay & then it might be bid up beyond the price that they would sell it straight to you for.
