Starter Motor

Ok. Starter motor has died on my 75 S2 V8. Engine is 1968 block. shopping around I have been told that all the Rover V8 starters are the same. I have been offered a cheap Range rover/landover starter. Does this fit the P6 or are the mountings, bendix different.
 
Whereabouts are you? I have a couple of V8 starters and I think they all fit early or late. No one wants to buy em even for £5 on Ebay. Mind you the postage is crippling. Welcome to one FOC if it's any good. I'm in Lingfield, Surrey
 
Thought there might be a differnace with the Rangie unit.
