i need a good used or a new nearside underwing drag link
without it my car will sit in garage ,as mot is now lapsed

If you mean the side steering rod, Ian has them over in Doncaster, if you mean the lower link strut, you may be looking for a while.

Careful if buying secondhand ones, I was about to use one I'd been keeping as a spare when I noticed that the end was bent. It only showed when held against another. Dunno how it got like that, but it wouldn't have done my steering geometry much good.
 
I recently got an OS steering side rod assemply (arm with ball joins either end) from WINS International it was NOS original Rover/BL part still in original packaging. I think he also had some pattern items at slightly lower cost. Could be worth giving them a try?
