steering/suspension - DeDion Failure

been there, got the tee shirt and a new pair of trousers as it went at 70mph on a dual carriageway

It's not the fact that it failed thats annoyed me, it's the fact that three weeks ago the car passed the MOT :angry:
 
funny you should say that mine was also about 3 weeks after being tested. I had to replace the bottom link as well as the road surface abraded it through to the rubber bush.
 
I would guess it would be a good idea for EVERYONE driving a P-6 out on the salt covered highways to have a good look at that area.

Hmm, mine had passed the test about a fortnight before, I had to change the bottom link as well as the road wore through it to the rubber bush!:(
