Must confess I prefer the look of the strip as well, was it ever an option for the 3500s?

I also like the speedo cylinder (and the rest of the instrument/switch cluster) Citroen fitted on the early BX I used to have, that sure made the passengers double take!

Hi yes ive just fitted a nos strip speed in my rosie and it realy freshens the interior dash up, its got 1 mile on the clock
looks great

In my 20's I didn't like the strip-speedo at all. With age (of us both) it's become much more charming & as mentioned already, gets favourable reactions from other people. As does the clock dash of course, which is still one of the best looking instrument clusters ever designed IMHO.

Yes the clock is great, it's knid off cool that you can here it ticking when sat at the traffic lights. Although that may be more down to it's loud than the p6 having Rolls Royce level of silence. :)

i got playing the other night with my spares and i have one strip speedo with a rover badge on it to the right hand side.
is this common? cos i have a few speedo's and none have it?

The strip speedo with the Rover logo on it is from a S1 V8. I think it reads higher than the 2000 one. (140mph IIRC?) And it will have a 15 gallon fuel gauge.

Hi thats right if it reads 120 mph its for the 2000 and 140 mph its for a v8
hope that helps
