Hi,
Does anybody have the two special tools used to pull the front suspension ball joints apart? One pushes the lower ball joint out of the lower strut, the other pulls the ball joint out of the swivel pillar.
If anybody has any that they wouldn't mind lending to me, I'd pay the postage each way.
I'm trying to change the lower ball joint, but after a full 7 hour day of hitting things with hammers I have managed to achieve absolutely nothing. The split pins and castle nuts have come off the top and bottom ball joints, but I cannot break the tapers for the life of me. I've tried jacking the car every which was to put tension on the joints, and even tried heating them, but they are stuck so fast they might as well be welded in!
Any help would be very much appreciated!
