TC throttle linkage

I'm replacing my 1975 2200 SC engine with a 2200 TC. Does anyone have any photos of the throttle linkage on a TC that they could e-mail me. The bit that's really getting me is how to connect the upright rod that comes up by the firewall to the carb assembly.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi John, I see no one loves you, I am an internet/ forum virgin, but I do have a 2200 TC, and a digital camera, so come on you P6 owners. How do we help each other.
PS. RVO 318R, 2200 TC, is going for it's first MOT since 1996 on Friday, wish us luck. Regards Joe.

Hey Joe, with any luck I'll be getting the complete linkage assembly towards the end of the week from an extremely helpful guy called Jim Brown. If you need any odd/weird parts he's a worth giving a call.

Of course, I've still got to get it put together right first! Then I can go for my, somewhat overdue, MOT too.

Good luck with your MOT and thanks for responding.

If I scanned the relevant page from the Rover factory workshop repair manual, would that be of any use?

Best regards

Russ

Hi Russ, I reckon that could well be useful. When I get the parts I'm hoping it'll be fairly obvious what I've got to do, however as I didn't dismantle a TC linkage I've got no point of comparison to work from.

If it's not too much trouble, it'd be much appreciated.

Cheers

John

If it's not too inconvenient that'd be great Russ. I'm not expecting the parts to turn up 'til next week sometime so there's no hurry.

I'll keep an eye open for a factory manual myself too. There is one on ebay at the moment but it's for the 2000 so I figure I'll wait until a 2200 version comes available.

Thanks a lot

John
