Tow bars

Gentlemen,

My wife is a registered invalid so I intend fitting a Tow bar so that we can take her scooter on a small trailer, my 3500 is an Automatic do you think I should fit an oil cooler to the Gearbox.

Quite so, and a small trailer and invalid carriage shouldn't pose too much extra strain.

If you find you get any symptoms of hot gearbox then make sure you fit a thermostat in the oil line to the box and use a separate 13 row cooler instead of the cooler in the radiator. This will also help the engine cooling system, as the radiator is currently being asked to do two jobs!

Gentlemen,

Thanks for replies, just one more queston I notice that there are two types of bar, one straight and the other curved. The curved is to allow refitting the over riders without modification, so what if I get a straight one do I have to modify.
