Well lucky me. I finally got my dream car. Guess what it is, yes it's a BMW .
Only joking I am now a proud owner of rover 2000 thanks to my little sister who generously gave it to me for nuffink:D
She was previously owned by a family friend (the car .not my sister) before he got bored and gave it to Her about a year ago . since then the car has sat looking slightly dejected at having her seats removed for re-carpeting , along with bits of the front end.
I intend to get her up and running by the summer.
She needs new shock absorbers , exhaust and new tires for an MOT. any thing else will be done as a rolling restoration. (funds permitting).
I will post photos as soon as I get her home.

Good luck with the car H-bomb. What are your spanner-wielding skills?

Other than the usual on geriatric cars, the only special thing to check on a P6 is the de dion elbows at the rear for reasons a rudimentary search will quickly tell you...

Well I can fix a push bikeo_O fortunately I live near a chap in Wolverhampton who specializes in P6's and knows my car pretty well, so hopefully I can tap in to his knowledge.
She's being delivered Monday . Cant wait:D
