WHITE Rover for Wedding

Hi Everyone,

I'm getting married in 2012...I know at the moment a long time away... but I'm looking for somewhere to hire a white rover p6. I have a spitfire1500, but I'm just not gonna be able to fit in that with my dress..... My mum and dad got married with a white rover p6 and my mum and dad have had 4 rover p6 when I was young...... so I'm trying to find a white rover p6 ...any ideas where I could either hirer one, or have chauffeur driven even someone who is prepared to let my dad drive it around. Needed in the kent area.
If any one has any ideas please I'm willing to hear.

Where are you geographically?
We have quite a few white Rovers suitable both with forum members and the Club....where you are will be the clincher!

Hello, I own a 1972 p6 in White with black leather, I live in Rainham, in Kent and would be happy to drive the car for you or let you borrow it, send me an email if it helps at all

I have a white with red leather in Maidstone, Kent, so if you are down here you could have a convoy! Ive driven it for 2 weddings years ago and might have the hat somewhere!

Chris - we should get a Kent meeting going, I think there are a few of us down here

Kent meet sounds good, where abouts in Maidstone (don't mind me asking) going clubbing there once a week in the old girl (22) so I'm still young enough to go..

Im near Aylesford (Bluebell Hill/A229). Are you 22, the car 22, or you picked up a 22 year old girl in the Rover? :)

I used to go to the Alfa garage that shut down in Rainham but dont know any of the pubs out that way

Theres a few big easy to find pubs with big carparks on the North side of Maidstone - Malta, The Village on the Running Horse roundabout or the White Rabbit - or there are some nice country pubs between us that could use the business and have gardens that look out on the carpark for the summer.

How about first Wednesday of the month?

Nick, that car is fantastic...... sounds like there are a few white p6's out there after all.... :D I might even consider a small convoy to the church....cant have my mum dad and grandparents walking can I :D

I'm hoping for 2nd June 2012 fingers crossed.
The church will be on the isle of Sheppy (North kent).

I have a brown 2200sc so i could take the the bridesmaids, as long as its not in april as it has my own sons wedding to got to in Maidstone,
Alfesti/chris001, is a Medway/Maidstione meet a possability? as the last one I went to was in Sittingbourne many many years ago.
is it worth posting on Event/ Meetings to test the water?

Hi, I am getting married on July 28th 2012 and would like a White rover p6 too for my husband to be to arrive in and then take us to the reception. We are getting married in swanley and the reception is in eynsford. If u could let me know if this is at all possible and how much u would charge me. Many thanks
