Out for a spin today, pulled up at local shops to buy a few pints of relaxation in a tin 4 o'clockish and got talking to an chap who told me he was heavily into Rovers ... apparently he still has an old white Rover not used for years locked away locally .... I had visions of acres of black boxpleat leather, 14" rostyles, dust over concourse paint 8) 8) turns out its an auto SD1 V8 :( Wants it gone, not sure of money etc, but may be worth a peep. Ill ring him and go and have a look.
 
White, S1, V8, auto, sore! A doable project, if you had the inlination, needs wings, 3 out of the 4 doors, crud on arches and a bit in boot floor ... i personally dont like these cars much, so told vendor to stick it on ebay.
 
Where is it based?

I need the door number, the road, the postcode, a picture of it, and the owners nail clippings and nationakl insurance number please.

Oh, and do let me know what brand of socks his spaniel wears.

Im not sure what brand of english you all speak on here...but it seems a little different to mine. I like old cars. Simple as that. I have an SD1, and a P6, but i would like to save a V8 SD1 because i can. India panels are cheap enough so body repairs are no problem. Is it for sale and do you have any details?

Guys! Can we all just get back to enjoying old car's and having a natter about general motoring life please? I try to make a crust out of classic cars and I don't really care what they are just as long as they're being preserved and used safely. There's quite a few SD1 fans about and I'm sure one of them has the facilities and folding stuff to make a goer from this car. So let's have a few details about the car and hopefully someone out there can re home it and enjoy it for a few years longer. Come on fella's let's leave the ranting behind and enjoy a very useful forum with friendly advice and chat. Hope you get it speedy, sounds like you could be the right man for the job.
