Windscreen Washer Jets!

Guys,

Whats the best/easiest way to position the jets so they hit the windscreen evenly?

Also, one side is squirting and one side is dribbling... the line under the bonnet seems clean, whats the best way to unblock the jet? The line seems to be clear, however its not easy to get it off the bottom of the jet and it has a slight bend in it

We used to use a needle that was ground a bit thinner and poke them through from the front, followed by
a blast of air with the lines disconnected at the nozzles which did the trick.
 
One of my favourite upgrades is to fit a stronger pump (one in my case two Lucas pumps) and use two double chrome jets from a mini - they look the same more or less as the P6 type and cost about £3. The problem is a single jet won't aim the same at all speeds. With the double ones, aim one in the middle for low speeds and one higher for motorways.
