Winter weather...no problem!

As my only means of transport ive had to use my TC during these last few days..and why not?, she's seen more winters than me and much to the amazement of my work colleagues ive managed, despite some harsh conditions to get to work on time every morning.

Despite a rather temperamental starter motor, ive fired up the old girl every morning at set off on a daily ten mile drive to work. One morning, worse than most i was stuck in traffic moving very slowly up hill and had virtually ground to a halt due to some modern front wheel drive rubbish being stuck. Not a problem for the old TC, which stunned a lot of passers by as i flew up the hill in second leaving a load of motorists behind. My old Tc was also on chaffer duty recently with me driving the Boss and mates to our annual Christmas works do :D

That's the spirit. Bruiser has been ploughing the snowy highways too despite a stretched fan belt which was new when I fitted it a few months ago. Luckily, she's a very good starter despite the occasional lazy turnover.

Don't forget to give it a good hosing underneath to get rid of the salt once the weather improves and a squirt of waxoyl if you're feeling generous

Cheers, yeh i reguarly give her a clean once a week despite the weather. Fitted a re-con starter this morning, now fires on the button :)
