Might fit, and certainly looks the part. The lack of 'H-diagram' on the top and sharper corners make it look a lot like an auto knob anyway. Just a case of fitting it.

You'll lose the image on the top as you'll have to drill a hole right the way through for the detent button, so IMHO not worth the bother to end up with something that could well end up looking like a pig's breakfast anyway.

Second what Harvey says, in addition to the fact that last time I checked, those particular aftermarket wooden knobs came with a soft, self-tapping plasticky compound pressed in from below to allow you to screw the knob straight onto the manual stick. However the thread on the stick is much too fine and short, and the plastic isn't up to the job, so they come off in your hand first try. Better used on other sticks/makes even though they do look smart. I know, I tried one, then two years hence asked the same seller in your listing there if there was anything new, but no. The original knobs - still talking manuals here - come with a metal threaded insert for a reason... :?

Hi mate i have seen them not any good for me i want something in the original shape :-( i think charles has one in his white 3500 american spec car? Registration 3500RU Correct me if im wrong? Thanks

I must admit, I didn't realise there was a button on top of the auto sticks. I've never driven an auto P6, but would really like to try it- esp a V8. Would be strange as it would feel so familiar and yet so different!
If you're really feeling creatively inclined, I suppose you could have a go at turning one using the plastic bit as a template...

As it happens I have a woodworking mate "retired but busy old boy",making me one, using a spare as a pattern, and to match with the wood door/dash trim I fitted. :D
Unfortunately it will not be ready for Rugeley as I was hoping!! :(
Its a, "I will get round to it soon" job,and I dont want to nag him,,,"much anyway",
But as soon as it is made I will bung up a post and piccy.
