I owned this car from Sept 96 to April/May 97 and used it as my everyday car. I have always wondered what happened to her.
At the time she was on around 50000miles and I bought her from a neighbour for £2500.
She had a few blemishes on the wings... tiny though and was one amazing P6... Totally mint original baseunit, beautiful engine, mint interior!
I sold her in the spring of 97 for £4000 as I really needed the money... I know the guy I sold her too then spent another £4000 on her in replacement panels and a full respray at Kingsdown Garage.

I am VERY tempted to buy her back!

Does anyone know of this car's recent history?

Obviously series one 2000TCs come along from time to time.....
The guy I bought her from in 96 told me that the previous owner had only used the car to drive to the coast at the weekends to visit relatives....
Indeed at the time, the engine felt like it had just been run in... I have had several 2000TCs since then, and nothing compared to that one.
 
The red looks right with black interior and chrome rostyles - agree with Harvey on the et's and gaiters.
