I have just scored a 1965 "1st edition" 2000 workshop manual with grey cover, (part number 4697) for 14 pounds of ebay. The condition looked good in the ad, but will have to wait till it arrives to see what shape it is in.
I already have a mint condition, new in box, grey covered manual, part number 605028, a white covered manual with part number 605028, and a shabby, dirty, covers missing, taped up copy I keep in the car for the mechanics to play with. I am assuming the part number changed when the TC's came around and were included in the manuals. Does anyone know how many versions of the 2000 series workshop manual were produced?
