    Insurance

If you're with who I seem to recall you saying you were with, my old man was quoted about £370 to insure his X Type Jaguar with them last year. His renewal was nearly £600. So what you're saying about a high renewal really doesn't surprise me.

    Resprayed

That was clever of them... didn't realise they used your paint too. But to put it back on the shelf... I wonder who they'd sold their shared brain cell to? P.S. Do you have any pics of it from Sunday? I thought it looked rather good but didn't take any pics at the gala myself.

    Resprayed

Christ almighty my friend, it's sickening. Gives people my sort of age a bad reputation - and makes you wonder what the country as a whole is coming to. I hope they're brought to book and made to pay for a respray. I really feel for you bud. Still, on the plus side at least it'll match...

    Hi

LPG in a Dolly 1500 should see you the equivalent of 50-60mpg.

    Hi

Cheers for the welcome, and the advice Zeuss. I'm hoping to try and get a classics policy with either Lancaster or Adrian flux - as my old man's with Flux I could take advantage of a second-car-in-the-household discount, and I understand Lancaster were able to insure Peter Melville's (MCi...

    BL Rally - Peterborough - Sunday 2/08/09

It's a shame, because the year before there was quite a good A-R.co.uk (as it then was) stand.

Are AROnline not having one then? Not seen any discussion but there's time - last year's was done with less time IIRC.

That could look rather good when done.

    VIP interior

Confirms my suspicions tbh - although I did think it might work better than the brushed nylon of some later cars.

    VIP interior

Don't know if this is the right place for this - admin/mods please move it if it isn't. Would anyone happen to have a pic of a VIP interior? I've never seen one (And am unlikely to, seen stranger though so it's possible), and I'm interested as to how well brown velour works in a P6.

Sheffield Festival of Transport 18th June

The old boy who owned it told me they were Wolfraces he'd fitted 4 years ago, and taken from a scrapped modified SD1.

    Hi

Fingers crossed I shan't - it's really down to finding a job first then someone who'll give me a half-decent insurance quote. Thanks for the welcome Graeme. Any young P6 owners here btw that could offer insurance tips etc?

    Hi

Hi, I'm Sam, just shy of my 18th birthday, and from Sheffield. until mid-June I was a student, now a full time dosser until I start university in September (Although searching frantically for a job - there's NOWT about for students). When I've managed to secure an income, i'm looking at...
