Thanks for the reply Colin - I thought along the same lines as you. Regretfully its will be costly (rolling road) to demonstrate likely innocence - speedo is +10mph based on revs and calibration against 'newer' cars.

Hello all Does anybody has any info. on why the police used an additional speedo in their P6s (1970s). I have a dispute regarding the speed reading in my 3500 auto, and would welcome proof that the Police also didn't trust the standard speedo for verifying speeds! Thanks
