Hi GRTV8*, It seems it was offered for about a year 66-67 Its specified in the brochures for that period as a colour. By a process of elimination, ie, counting down the colours featured in the brochure eg, Buckskin, sandalwood, ebony, toledo red, I came up with no 'Buffalo'.

Greetings all, I am curious to know what colour ' Buffalo' was. Would anyone have a pic ? Amongst all things Rover I collect old Rover Brochures for P5 and P6 models. These seem to have featured all the interior colours, except Buffalo......?

Thanks guys, I'm tempted to read up on pin striping and have a nice gold pin stripe on almond. A Series 3 XJ6 I owned many moons ago had gold striping on BRG. It did start to peel off after a while. It was a very 70's thing. Cheers, Lewis

Greetings all, First, can I say that all of Australia stands shoulder to shoulder with the UK in these difficult times. Now, on another note, the very last P6B's sold in Australia featured gold pin striping on each side on the sage line. Did the last of the P6B's have this as well. ?

Thanks Harvey. My guess is Almond. The car is interstate and as our borders from Victoria are closed.I can't inspect personally.

PS. I'm thinking this colour ( see attachment ) may not in fact be BL almond but a Triumph colour. The NZ assembly plant at Nelson also assembled Triumph 2500's and Jaguar XJ series 2. I seem to recall seeing Triumph's and indeed Jaguar Series 2 in this colour. What do you think ?

Greetings all, I'm seriously looking at a NZ assembled P6B to purchase. It has an Australian 3/76 compliance plate. It is the colour Almond. I didn't think almond made it until the last batches of P6's were sent to OZ. Could almond have been a special factory order or was it in fact still...
