View of my set up from a Land Rover, even adapted the L R mounting bracket. System works well, new 15lb rad cap - no fluid loss over 12 months and easy to see fluid level when cap removed (when engine cold obviously)

Electronic Ignition You do not mention in above post what model you have , 4 cylinder or 8 ? I can only comment on my experience of trying to go "pointless" on my own car. I "trial" fitted a electronic ignition kit to my early (suffix A) 3500S with the early type (triangular)base plate within...
