Welding / Rear Wheelarch Inner Wing Repairs - Replace or Repair

I'm in the same position. Both my inner rear wings have rusted through - and I took the outer ones off the other day to look at the damage. I have never done any car bodywork welding (although I have done a basic MIG welding course) and am wondering how easy it is to do the job on the car...

    Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal?

I have recently done a top end rebuild on my 1971 P6 and once it had been running a while - I noticed that there was some oil leaking out from the semi-circular plate behind the sump, which gives access to the flywheel. I have had a bit of trouble finding a battery that will fit in the battery tray in the boot of the car. The failing battery already fitted...

    Fuel Problems

It turned out there was a kink in the plastic fuel line!! After sorting that out - fuel was reaching the carbs on a few turns of the engine. After a quick adjustment of the ignition timing the engine started with no problems at all!

    Fuel Problems

I am new to owning the Rover P6 and have always wanted one for ages, so when I found a 1971 P6B in the part exchange section of a local garage for £425 - I decided to finally buy one. I knew the engine had a few problems - which turned out to be one of the head gaskets - but on taking the...
