    Fule line blockage....

Guys - I've a had a periodic problem where I'm getting this fibreglass type whispy material - almost like a cockoon for a moth or something - working it's way from the direction of the tank and getting stuck just before my electric fuel pump causing at best a spluttering under load and at worst...

    Is this the correct hose?

Guys - could you take a look at this and let me know to the best of your knowledge if it looks like a genuine bit for my 1975 3500. I have looked on t'internet quite a lot for these hoses and have seen several different part numbers. Cheers... Steve. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/rover-2....iewItem

    Darkness and lights...

Hi guys - just a quick question so I know in which direction to go - if indeed it is as simple as that. My side lights work fine, my dipped lights work fine and my 'flashing' lights up all four headlights, however, when I put the lights on main beam permanently pushing the stalk up, they all go...

    3500 auto box has leaked!

Although I'm not sure of the capacity without checking, It doesn't appear to have lost a huge amount - maybe a pint or so. I'll get on me back and have a look as soon as I get a chance (ooh err missus)....

    3500 auto box has leaked!

Morning guys and a happy new year to everyone. I've come back from new year in Scotland to find lots of pink fluid under the car!! Now I know this is the colour of the auto gearbox oil, but am a bit of a loss why it should suddenly have leaked out. Could someone with a bit more of a grasp on...

Intermittent wipe - How to replace your sponge - PICTURES!

My wipers do not return to the their parked position at all - have to time the turning on and off. Like wise when I put them on intermittent they just move across the screen and stop. I'll have a look at replacing the sponge anyway, but what's causing them not to return? Is it as easily fixable...

Rust - how does it work??

This may sound like a really dumb question, but it's one of those I've never really known the answer to and the sort of question everyone wants to know but is too embarassed to ask....and I was crap at physics and chemistry at school! I've a few patches of rust appearing in the normal places -...

    Fuel vapourisation

Yep - I can confirm that. My 3500 auto suffered terribly last summer, but the new electric pump has performed admirably. Does make a bit of a ticking noise when you're low on fuel, but it's a small price to pay. Cheers Steve.
