hey all! so recently i've just got my 73 rover to start! and boy is it sweet. Few problems I've found... when i put my lights on I get the headlights although no parking lights, nothing in the rear end. when i put my hazard lights on.. they work although barely! not very bright at all.. what...

I've fitted modified mine a little bit. Aluminium heat shielding and a smaller fan.. Temperature is good, and no issue at all with over reading. Simple modification as the fan is attached to the back of the cluster (speedo, tacho etc...) I get a reading of about 15degrees. I should of taken...

This is odd. I had a dash left out of one of my p6's. majority of the gauges were faulty, clock, speedo, tacho and fuel... Being hot in australia this is probably why. Now they work perfect its winter! May put some heat shielding in between the dash and the gauges!

Hello Paul, thankyou so much for the reply. The current fuse box in it is in perfect condition. So keeping it in there is preferable. My fuse box doesn't seem to have any spare fuse places left.. so adding another box is probably the easiest / best solution. I have both a spare p6 original...

Hey all! Okay so I'm adding things such as air conditioning, gas conversion, electric windows and such things to my p6. All up I have about 8 - 10 inline fuses and it's getting pretty messy trying to locate them all under the dash and if I had to replace one further down the line... god help me...

Pitty you aren't located closer to Australia! Both of my rovers are converted to gas (well dual fuel). Only rebuilding one.. the other is in the spare parts donor car. :D

Yeah in the end I took the cable out from the tap! It is right under the fuel tank and was easily removed, thanks. On my 76 P6 bolted onto the fuel tank is another tank? Or something.. I thought this would of been the reserve fuel tank. It isn't on my 73P6 hence why I thought the option was...
