Guessing this is a loose earth somewhere. Tried fiddling with reservoir cap wires but no light. Comes on, on the move and more so the higher the speed (wind buffeting / vibration?). No loss of fluid. Any ideas where to start looking. Were all cars fitted with pad level circuits?

Hi, I have decided to order the cam kit but I can't find an engine number on next to the dipstick tube. Al that's there is "CC" stamped in the centre of the flat. there are no feint figures there either. I have no history of the engine and only know it to be SD1. How do I find out the CR? Is CC...

Recently she's developed a bit of a clattering when fully warmed up. Only does it when revved in neutral - seems fine at tickover and under load. Changed oil 20/50 / slick 50 and its made no difference. Pressure might be a bit low - about 30 in gear - down to bugger all on tickover (when hot)...
