Thanks - that's what I've done - made up a tool using a tube (short length of scaffolding) plus a bar with a hole drilled in it, but unfortunately although the bar is about 1/4 inch thick it is just bending. Should it be that tight to come out???

Interesting - that happened to me to - the MB033 boss that I also bought does not fit - it has only 28 splines (I counted them!) - so I am still looking for a boss to fit my Astrali wheel which has the same 6 hole fitting as the Mountney. I may have to bite the bullet and buy a Moto-lita...

I presume you are talking manual box here? I get something similar - its a very quiet ticking noise when under power - seems to be in all gears - I have just changed the oil in the gearbox and I'm fairly sure the noise wasn't there before - but I don't know because the exhaust was blowing...

Re: Egine oil for P6B Good! Because that's what I've put in it. I ncidentally has anyone had trouble with oil filters? I got a "Mann" filter that was supposedly the correct one for the P6B, but the body of it is too long - I eventually got a "Fram" P25 which is the correct length. dave
