Engine and gearbox have now been reunited with the car at last, doing all these fiddly jobs have taken some time to finish and waiting for the weather to improve as the gantry is too tall for the garage.Still a long way to go.

Had a great weekend at the Woodvale Southport rally the weather could of been a bit kinder, Saturday picked up 1st place for best Rover and a huge trophy and on Sunday got 3rd in class so happy days. There was some lovely cars there on both days.

Rebuilt using 3 new bearings the 4th one far too expensive the one that's in is OK and sporting a super short gear lever I machined some new bushes from nylon bar and some new gear shaft bushes it feels very precise so look forward to when it is all finished and back on the road.
