HI- I have got a spare V8 front bumber. It has no dings or dents but there is some surface pitting. It would benefit from a re-chrome to bring it up to scratch but is in otherwise nice usable condition. drop me a line if interested. Its FOC, just cover the postage. cheers

i went for an Aldon ignitor and have not looked back sicne. More responsive, starts quickers, smoother, what can I say. it an easy install - recommended :D no modifications required, just plug in and play (more or less) :lol:

Great thanks - I think I'll visit my local powerflow dealer and see what they recommend. I'll keep an eye on the mixture but I will most likely pop in to my local garage who can test the exhaust gases using their box of tricks. cheers

Hi. no all the filters are in place (and new). I can only assume that the wasp crawled into the fuel intake pipe by the carb when it was disconnected during restoration works.

a little update - all installed and very easy to set up. The improvement over the points is staggering and I am delighted with the results. crisper throttle response and quicker starting - won't miss those points. Aldon recommended.

thangs for coming back to me. Its safe to say that there have been more sightings of the lockness monster than the ballast resistors in P6's ! :lol: i have just found out that whilst 12v is desirable at the coil, anything above 6v will suffice apparently. lets see how we go - thanks for your help
