    Car-P6 3500S. When I first got the car it had usual fuel problems in slow traffic and hot weather. Fuel filter was empty but worked again when cooled down. I have now completed a l0t of items. Electric fuel pump,expansion tank, checked the thermostat, cleared the small pipe to the inlet...

    Thanks for the picture Colin. My pump is similar but not quite the same electrics. I havn't got the tools to strip down my pump.     Yes it is a TRW pump. I did notice a previous mention of the Citroen Saxo pump but I went for the Astra one after reading the article in the mag!

    Thank you for the replies. No Colin, someone in the p6 club said it was much simpler when he fitted it to his 2000TC.No belt, no pully, , no separate reservoir, much shorter pipework.In fact the results are much better- even recommending those with the engine driven pump to change! I only hope...
