Thanks for the picture Colin. My pump is similar but not quite the same electrics. I havn't got the tools to strip down my pump. I am awaiting a reply from the person that fitted a pump like mine and there is a picture of it in the February edition of Driving Force (Rover P6 Club). I am hoping...

Yes it is a TRW pump. I did notice a previous mention of the Citroen Saxo pump but I went for the Astra one after reading the article in the mag!

Thank you for the replies. No Colin, someone in the p6 club said it was much simpler when he fitted it to his 2000TC.No belt, no pully, , no separate reservoir, much shorter pipework.In fact the results are much better- even recommending those with the engine driven pump to change! I only hope...
