1965 p6 2000 City Grey For Sale

HI I am sorry to say I have to sell my 1965 C reg P6 2000, I have no longer got storage for her and it is a sad time indeed :( She has MOT and Tax exempt :) Requires and Exhaust system though :( I am currently hunting one down to fit to her. She is City Grey (Paints not great) .Red Leather Interior.
 
HI everyone , Here are some Pics and basic Info on CTL[attachment=4]
She is a 1965 2000 P6 showing 28,655 miles (couldnt tell you if thats original) MOT Till June 9th 2011 and Taxed till 31/05/2011
I have owned her for about 2 years and in that time she has had some welding to the passenger side Floor pan, 2 reconditioned Cllipers, New brake Servo, four new Tyres, New controll Box for the Regulator. and various other little bits including new cooling hoses. The Heater box under the Bonnet is in need of replacement quite crusty- but doesnt leak. She Starts and drives well although is very loud at mo due to having removed the Exhaust as it was rotten from the front pipe back and basicly gave up the will to live.
I am currently trying to hunt an Exhaust down as I believe the one that came off was off of a later car so hopefully shouldnt be too hard to replace but am will to take a drop on price withought an Exhaust :)
Interior is in average condition the Drivers seat is the worst and is the only one with a tear in it.
The Car is Located in Kempston (bedfordshire) just off of the M1 Junc 13
I have been advisded she`s worth £1500 as she`s a very early car but i`m open to offers and i`m willing to take a drop on price with Exhaust needing replacing :)

HI all, made a great discovery at work yesterday. We are currently clearing out a lot of old stock and a freind of mine at work dug out a shiny new Middle section of said required P6 exhaust :) so having Rear part made up for it over the weekend hopefully :) this way Test drives will be possible withought shattering windows :)
 
Yes Grim it's an honest motor, I've concentrated on replacing parts and have put painting it on the back burner. However I may Well get the bonnet an boot done soon if no ones interested for now. :)
 
Righto I now have a Shiny new middle section and a very well made rear section to go on the car :) should be fit by tonite :)
 
Hi everyone, CTL now finally has a newly exhaust middle section :) and if Any ones interested the Car No. Is 40017750.B :) as before I'm still open to offers on her.
 
Morning everyone in P6 land, I have decided that despite what ive been told CTL is worth. I am now re-advertising her at the new asking price of £995 O.N.O ...Surley She`s worth that much .. I spent almost £1200 on her over the past years to put her back on the road, really dont want the bother with being messed about on Ebay but may come to it :(
 
I hope you get an offer - think cars tend to sell better in spring time so you may get more for it if you can wait a couple of months!
 
Thanks Rock demon:) You could be right about leaving till later in the year. However I have had positive show of interest in CTL off of the Retro Rides website, the guys not called me yet so its still not too late to bag this lovley lady :)
 
Love an S1 in grey with red interior. Wish I could find the space for it, but wife is going mental at me for picking up a 220 coupe yesterday. Good luck, and hope it goes to someone who will look after it,

I know Grim, Either she`s just not desirable enough or Perhaps its the wrong time of year to sell her at mo but allas I don`t have the storage for her anymore and so she has to go :(
 
Chris, I've had to walk away from the keyboard on a couple of occasions where I nearly put my hand up for CTL.

If I hadn't got Rebekah, I'd have had my hand in my pocket like a shot! But (for once) my sensible head ruled....2 P6's already, and no more space! :cry:

Good luck with the auction, and I really hope she goes to a good home.

Just 2 day`s left on the Auction for CTL guys!! dont miss out on this wonderfull lady :) true she needs a bit of love but believe me I wouldnt be letting her go if I had storage for her.
Vaultsman, mate I know what ya mean about not having the room. :( but hey surely ya can squeaze one more somewhere ? lol :) ... I sure hope she goes to an enthusiast who will finish her properly and I will be able to see her at shows looking amazing :)
 
CTL Is now sold :) ...Thanks everyone for their support in the time that ive been a memeber of this wonderfull forum and owner of such a Iconic classic motor :)
