1965 Rover P5 3litre Coupe - The fleet grows by 1

Having dabbled briefly with the idea of selling the old girl I managed to find a place to store her. She was picked up today and tucked away in a nice dry container a short distance from the new house.

Looks like there is plenty of room to stockpile parts in the container until you get round to it - I've got some bits from the P5B that may be suitable if you want to PM your current list.

It does doesn't it. That space will be used to stockpile all the parts from my current project (P6 3500S).

 I haven't got round to making a list yet  but I'll bear it in mind when I do. Thanks.

Beautiful and dignified car. A lot of work!

Not many years ago this certainly would have been scrap. It's good to see people taking these on. Time and skill will make a usable car.

That looks a decent car and the container makes a great place to keep it in. Keeps the light fingered elements away from it.

Glad you've found some storage for it. Just watch for damp though as these containers can be a bit 'sweaty'.

I'll be up there regularly to open it up and let some air in. I'm also going to chuck a few big silica gel bags in there to keep any moisture to a minimum.

If you do get any moisture and the gel bags suck it up, you can refresh them in a warm oven.

Yep, they're currently sitting on the radiator at home drying out :D
