2000 Engine Side Plate

Left while sitting in the car? I have a new spare one of those, it's the right hand/offside one l need at the moment (Sods law). I just checked my spare block & it doesn't have any sideplates.
 
Yes, flat ones (albeit stainless) for £75 + shipping. To be frank l'd probably spend another twenty quid & buy one of Wadhams original ones although he does replica pressed ones for £50.
Just seeing if there are any good ones gathering dust on someones shelf first. ;)

Hi, I'd always wondered about making up flat plate ones as a simple replacement. However I remember reading that it adversely affects the cooling and the plate is shaped to ensure water circulates around the cylinders properly. Take from that what you will.

I've got a couple, but need to dig them out.. not sure what or in what condition..
