2000TC Joining from Wirral

I have just today bought a Davos White with Red interior 1970 2000TC. It is my first P6 for 43 years ! I had a Zircon Blue 1965 SC from about 1968 to 1971 when I traded it in for the first of three 2.5PIs, and sadly missed it. This car looks presentable ,( rear bumper apart ) but how long the pristine paint will last I am not sure. The leather needs feeding and cleaning, and one tear needs to be fixed, and the carpets are both faded and shabby; similarly, underbonnet could do with a bit of spit and polish but otherwise the car drives well and I am looking forward to giving it some use

I hope pics are allowed : -

Welcome to the forum, you are in the right place for help if required :D

And don't worry about posting pictures, you would have been in trouble if you had NOT done so

Hello Chris - welcome into the fold . A great font of knowledge .
Nice looking car too and don't worry about too many pics - they lap them up.

Hi Chris Welcome , that looks nice , Good colour combination . Harvey will be along in a moment to say Hi , and he'll tell you your hand brake is too high , but don't worry , he'll also tell you how to sort it  Good luck with it :D

Ah, Stina, that's interesting about the handbrake - I tried it on the way home, and it worked, but not terribly impressively !

Might improve with use , but Harvey will tell you how to check it over , remove the cable and operate the quadrants to adjust it up ( or whatever it needs ) :D

Hello and welcome to the forum! I remember seeing the car on carandclassic.co.uk, and it looked lovely. The colour scheme is one of my favourites on a Series 1, and it looks thoroughly unmolested, to my mind. Good luck with your new car, and I'm sure you'll have a great deal of fun with it.
