in march edition of driving force the article on page 13 speaks of an improvement for 3500s box which is to fit phosphor bronze bushes and turn down shafts for pin sharp change----any one out there have any info on this--andy

I haven't driven a mani for decades , and was waiting for someone to give you a headsup .
I had a sluggish gearbox in a car yonks ago and thought I was up for a rebuild .
Someone suggested a different grade synthetic oil [ amsoil , molyslip , ? ] - I can't remember now twas long time ago .
Was like driving a new g/box . Smooth . quick and quiet .
Could this be your answer ?
Just a thought .
Someone who's not a farmer like me will be along soon .

someone not on the forum these days said to me that atf was good in these boxes... no personal experience though.

Not in the 3500S box, fine in the LT77 though.
