4 speed ZF autobox conversions

Gentlemen,

I own a transmission rebuilding company specialising and very well know in the Landrover world,

Although we specialise in 4 wheel drive manual and autoboxes we often get asked for 2 wheel drive ZF 4 speed autoboxes to install in the P5, P6, Stag Etc, the ideal autobox for this conversion is the ZF 4HP22, V8 LDV 400 (Ambulance), this box has the rover V8 front end and the 2 wheel drive back end with the speedo drive gear. Usually the enquiry ends there as we have none and can never find them.

Last week we purchased a large quantity of ZF autoboxes from ZF UK and we have 23 of these spec boxes in there.

Should anyone be interested in such a unit please let me know, I can be emailed from our web site shown below,

regards

Should the web master instantly remove this blatant but useful advertisment by a trader and then the club committe off him the oppertunity to advertise in the magazine and in the for sale or suppliers section?????????????

Don't be such a party pooper SCAUTO :D
If I had a V8 (sigh!) I would be very tempted - get Richard Taylor to whip up some glass fibre doors and make a real stormer!!
I would have thought getting little titbits of info like this was the lifeblood of the club.
Appreciate the point about advertising revenue but in such "one off situations" I wouldn't have thought it worth the companies while as probably not going to be a lot of demand from the Rover camp given the price of a P6 and the price of a ZF gearbox! He probably does advertise in Stag news (if there is such a publication!!
Cheers
Barry

Dave, I received the email, and forwarded it to the editor to arrange for a classified advert, sorry you haven't had a reply.
I'll leave the posts up in the meantime :)

OK thanks, I have no problem with paying for the exposure to your members,
