4 x dead 4 pots in North West Wales

Update on this blue car...
Today I finally got around to removing all 4 wings and sills to get a proper look at the base unit and completely failed to find any terminal corrosion! The bonnet slam panel has had it,but the rest of the shell is one of the soundest I've seen on a non-runner. One of the rear jacking point surrounds is a mess and the driver's footwell has a hole, but the rest just needs a few small repairs that I can see. I reckon the whole lot could be sorted in a couple of weekends.
Which is a bit of a problem.
I'd planned to remove a few more good bits then weigh it in for scrap, but now what am I going to do?
I'll post some photos tomorrow so you can see my dilemma.
There's no way I can keep it as yet another project. There's nothing left of the interior worth having. The engine is knackered - I took the cylinder head off for a look, 2 valves were burnt out which must have been why it was laid up all those years ago.

So if anyone has a rusty 4cyl project that they're struggling with and could use an easily restorable base unit, please get in touch. I wouldn't mind recouping the 150 pounds I paid for it.
It's a 2000SC. Tax exempt, no V5 so you'd need to apply for one and pay £25 to the DVLA.
On Anglesey, North Wales.
Just think of the months of welding you could save.

BTW, I heard that the Wolseley I mentioned above was saved.

As you can see, the tops of the front inner wings and all round the engine bay is covered in rust, but apart from the slam panel at the front, this is only on the surface so could be cleaned back and treated. I can only guess that the car was stored in the barn with the front facing an open door. Even that dodgy bit of sill/jacking point surround appears to have clean paint on the inside, so not the tip of the iceberg that we normally expect.
The boot floor is dented upwards. My fault I'm afraid, caused by the exhaust catching on my trailer as I was winching it on. Shouldn't be too difficult to knock back into shape.
As I assumed I'd be scrapping the car, I piled junk inside hence the lack of interior photos. If anyone's interested and thinks they may be able to save it, I'll clear it out properly and take some better photos of the floors and insides of the sills.

It's better than my Mexico Brown 2000TC was too!
Also better than another Mexico Brown P6 we've seen on the forum recently. Hint hint...

That does look very good, very easy repair.

The slightly more evil side of me is saying, cut it up and sell the parts as repair sections for others with slightly more advanced rot ! Plenty of people looking for those boot side sections for starters.

As a last resort, that's definitely what I'll do. But I'll take my time removing the suspension and steering first, to give it the best possible chance of a last minute reprieve. It's got at least another couple of weeks left.

Hi,

If you do decide to cut her up, can I put my name down for both rear boot side sections that have the tie bar bolt running through please.

Need both sides for my V8 S project (see my post in the wanted section).

Regards

Ian at Rover-classics is listing repair panels for the left side, not sure if he has stock but worth a call.

Thanks,

Gave him a call, and sold out.

He's still in the process of trying to update his web site, because several NOS panels shown now belong to me..... :D

Regards

..& an identical request for the curvy lower d-posts / front of rear wheel arch, if you cut it, please. (See my wanted requests also  ). I will be happy to pay a realistic price for your effort.

.....and if cutting is on the cards and a drivers front window runner happens to fall off - let me know if it is less than 2 or 3 pieces??
