A tad optimistic, methinks....

I saw that and thought he was deluded
There was an XM that was once owned by Dusty Springfield and that was up for £5K and didn't sell

Don't you just want to give the toy cars to a 3 year old in that guys living room and let the carnage begin! I know they're probably rare but come on, £5000

Good luck to them both selling anyway, I know I'm not buying!

Come to think of it, that registration on the XM looks familiar?

Was it something in good taste like all the M J jokes that are going round ?

It was a 12" single with unopened windows (like an advent calander I suppose) which was on for a 'buy it now' at £200,000.00

Unbelievable...

As is yet another re-offering from our good friend raymanboy.

I just about got through the first paragraph then gave up. At one stage I wondered whether it was a piano he was attempting to offload...or the Red Baron himself. He doesn't give up though...I'll give him that! :)

..... but have you seen this that our 'friend' raymanboy sold!

Here's the P6 set of seats that he had up for an extortionate amount of money ...... only went on a "best offer" of £385 !!! HOW? I hope it was no-one on here!

Here's his other two sales in the last 3 months!
I wonder if they knew what they were buying with this one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220438198716&category=43376
and....
the P6 rover carpet set for £290 incl postage! you could get any colour you like from Coverdale for less than that!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220390819919&category=10414

Who in their right mind would pay £300 for an inferior to original quality carpet set? Mind you,if you can understand what he's ever talking about you can't be your right mind anyway.

Bargain!

So...Genuine RS 1800? That's been reshelled? With what I wonder...a 1.3L? Or a pov spec Popular?

Unbelievable....

No worse than the MANY P6's that have gained a Tax exempt reg number
or those 'S' models that started life as V8 autos and gained a five speed box...

..mind you I would be asking serious questions about
the origin of the 'replacement' bodyshell.

Wonder if Swansea are aware that this is a re-shell....

Seems not much of the original engine is there either , just the block
I've nothing against this ,as long as it's not made from stolen parts , but at the right price

What I have against this Dave is as follows.

Swansea have in place a system of points to enable you to retain the original identity of a vehicle.

It is fairly obvious that this vehicle in NO WAY qualifys to have the original number it carries.

The vehicle should be on a 'Q' plate as it is made from parts new and used from various indeterminate vehicles.

But then again as I said before...

.. no worse than MANY of the tax exampt P6's running around and 3500 'S' models

I just hope some mug doesn't buy it then fall foul of the VOSA Inspectorate.
Those people are plain evil (and extremely knowageable) when examining a car
to find the true origin of it and the parts involved in a rebuild.

In all reality given the history the car is worth 4 grand tops on a 'Q'
and would make a good base for a classic rally car.

Oracle, I'm glad you mentioned the price there because I nearly fell of my chair when I saw the starting price of £27500!!!

Like you say 4 grand tops.
