Hi all, just wondering if anyone on the forum has a venetian red p6,if you have there should be a sticker under the bonnet saying so,i am after the part number,it is on the top left corner of the sticker and is a 6 digit number, would be very grateful if any one has it?thanks for reading Bri

According to James Taylor's book, the body colour labels were introduced in April '68. Venetian red was replaced by Brigade red in January '68 so it seems likely that there never was a sticker for Venetian red.

A number of years ago I was sent a list of Ault & Wiborg paint colour codes for the P6 by P6ROC.

It lists Venetian Red as GL26464 and says it was used from Sept 1965 to Dec 1967.

The same list also says you should use undercoat GL21014 Crimson.

Not sure if this is any help.

Colin
