Anybody fancy a real ground up rebuild???

One day when i have a house with a huge garage i'd love to do something like this.... ;o)

I belive this belongs to Michael Renaut of Classic Monthly, will be the body shell seen in the mag from time to time.

Looks like it. I spoke to him at some length before the last installment in the magazine (when the front springs were being removed) and at that time he seemed to have no doubts about getting it done, and back to original 4 speed LHD form. Personally I thought that a RHD and LT77 conversions would be the order of the day, but he wanted it original. Maybe the new owner will think differently.

That would be a good starting point for anyone. nice and clean and ready to have lashings of attention to detail thrown at it. If only I had a garage and a donor car, hmm what can I sell?.......... :D

This is Mike Renault's car - I think he's been under pressure by his employers to move the vehicle.

He offered it to us a while ago - I had to turn him down - it really needs someone who wants to do a 'ground-up' rebuild on thier own car. A hell of a lot of work. There are still some repairs needing doing to the base unit (not a lot though).

Cheers
Nick

hi all,
read the advert, what do you want a donor car for, it only has the engine not for sale with the car, but that is for sale under a different listing, everything that came off the car is there.

nick, he also offered it me, i have done too many restorations to do any more. just bought another NADA, one i sold over four years ago. so will enjoy that when i get it, hopefully in a week or so.
